corridor 2

For catch up with the corridor warm and cold colour change with population. I question myself for wider and deeper meaning.
This is the frame that i question myself. It is include pleasure model and technology as experience framework, and also some science of human affairs question. Such as what is this, how it works, is it useful to people...

So, my questions as follow:

Pleasure model has four parts-- physio-pleasure, socio-pleasure, psycho-pleasure and ideo-pleasure. How my project matches each of them?

What does my project give for physio-pleasure? Is there any communications or what does it do on communications? what makes people have feeling on my project?

And also, how my project matches technology as experience framework which has four parts also: the sensual thread, the emotional thread, the compositional thread and the spatio-temporal thread.

From my opinion, these two model and framework include all the questions of a interaction design works.

idea changes

I can not stop thinking with just one idea. So brain storming again.

first, this is a list about what can i relate to colours and lights influence mood.

There are some ideas. I draw sketches to explain.

Basically, among them,  there are two ideas that I like. One is corridor with change warm and cold colour relate to population, the other one is cup colour change with temperature.

Corridor: when people suffer a noise and crowded environment, they become irritable. And when people walk along they feel lonely. Base on colour has effect to people, when it is crowded the corridor will be cool colour to make people calm down. when it is lonely, the corridor will be warm colour to make people comfortable.

Cup: there is a cup fill with water, but is the water hot enough to burn our tongue? we don't know. If there is a cup remind by blue and red colour, that will be lovely. So, when the water or tea is hot, the cup will be red, when it become drinkable temperature it will be neutral colour, when water become cold the cup will be blue.

My first corridor project

As lighting can be used to reflect people's shadow, for instance, when people walk passed a wall, and the wall has LED light on it, the pwople's shape will bright or dark on the wall. when pwople walking, the reflection patterns change followed by people's shapes change. It will be seem like people's shadow on the wall. If the shadow or part of the shadow will be a single pattern, after reflecte by several times it will beome a complex and strange pattern like this picture below:

The reflection pattern can be single colour, like black and white, bule and red, or all mix with many colours, like this picture.

But if thinking this is people body's shape, or part of body's shape become a pattern by people walking by. with people walk, the patern also changes. the more people walk by, the more complex the pattern will be. or the more peolpe walk by, the more colourful the pattern will be.
